Carlie uses washed out tones, curvilinear geometry, draping fabric and textured transparency for creating sculptural installations and environments.  Through the re-creation of existing spaces, her work aims to bridge the gap between the human body and the environment.

Anish Kapoor "C-Curve"

Indian-born British sculptor Anish Kapoor 's "C-Curve" works are giant steel structures. The reflective steel curves around, almost reconnecting with itself, in the shape of the letter C. The outer side of the piece functions as a typical mirror, a little like looking through a fish lens, but in the inner side of the structure the reflection is inverted.

​The Benaki Museum Shop is hosting the exhibition "Remoulding Nature", by Margarita Ekklisiarchou.  The main material the artist uses is porcelain and the series of works featured on the blog is "Shells".

Janet Echelman found her true voice as an artist when her paints went missing — which forced her to look to an unorthodox new art material in a new way. She uses Fisherman's nets. With it she makes building size works that curve and flow in the wind.-----------Η Janet Echelman βρήκε τον δρόμο της σαν καλλιτέχιδα όταν δεν μπορούσε να έχει πρόσβαση στα χρώματα ζωγραφικής της, κάτι που την ώθησε στο να χρησιμοποιήσει ένα ανορθόδοξο υλικό με ένα καινούργιο, διαφορετικό τρόπο. Χρησιμοποιεί δίχτυα ψαράδων και με αυτά κατασκευάζει έργα σε μεγέθη κτηρίων, που καμπυλώνουν, πτυχώνονται και κυματίζουν στον αέρα.
