XTEND- The new portable bathtub was featured at the "Talente 2016" exhibition in Munich. Created by designer Carina Deuschl, the Xtend bathtub was awarded the Talente price and the 2015 Red Dot award for best design. Xtend is a fully collapsible tub that folds down to just a third of an inch in height. When it is unfolded it can be filled with water, as it is equipped with a padded, machine washable fabric inlay. The fabric inlay is waterproof, lightweight, durable and soft. The surface of the material smooths out completely once the bathtub is filled with water. One can take XTEND anywhere, as long as there’s a water connection. When the bath or soak is done, the water is simply drained through via a pump system. Carina Deuschl (born in 1988 in Germany) is working in the fields of product, furniture and interior design. For more information you can visit her webpage: http://www.carina-deuschl.com/ |
